Do you remember who Donald Trump beat to secure the Republican presidential nomination in 2024?
Most don’t.
His name is Ron DeSantis.
It’s a name the legacy media rarely mentions. The Trump challenger ran on a platform of family values, patriarchy, states’ rights, and faith in God.
DeSantis has been working hard with little-to-no attention from the lamestream media.
Though few know it, the Florida governor is releasing the Epstein files.
DeSantis is Standing up for Epstein’s Victims
Aside from Thomas Massie, Ro Khanna, and a couple other federal lawmakers, few politicians are pushing for the full release of the Epstein files.
DeSantis is one of the brave power brokers willing to do what’s right despite the risk.
The fallout?
DeSantis, Massie, and Khanna could be abducted, held for ransom or worse. Lest we not forget, governors and members of Congress do not have Secret Service protection.
DeSantis has courageously released the entirety of the Epstein files in his jurisdiction. The governor did it on his own volition, fully understanding the act would enrage those named in the files.
“Last week, I signed legislation that will allow the release of grand jury documents in the Epstein case. Justice has not been served in this case, and all perpetrators should be held accountable.” – DeSantis
The governor’s signature on the legislation fits DeSantis’ character as a patriotic military veteran focused on doing what’s right.
“What was going on in Florida was only a fraction of what was happening. This was a massive, massive operation here that was targeting these very, very young girls and to not have justice on this is something that has been a big black spot on our justice system.” - DeSantis
DeSantis is the opposite of the average politician willing to compromise morality for political expediency.
Inside DeSantis’ HB 117
Have you heard of HB 117?
Probably not. There’s a reason for that.
The legislation, recently signed by Governor DeSantis, has been neglected by the press without justification.
Read through the legislation and you’ll find it permits the public release of all Epstein grand jury documents. Included in those documents is an ’06 investigation Florida authorities conducted into Epstein’s shady activities.
The mainstream media conveniently glossed over this act of legislative bravery, refusing to air footage of DeSantis celebrating HB 117 with Epstein abuse survivors.
“The public deserves to know who participated in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking. Nobody should be protected from facing justice due to their wealth or status, and those who harm children should be exposed and punished to the fullest extent of the law.” – DeSantis
The uncomfortable truth?
Several Palm Beach County residents were victimized by Epstein decades prior to the current investigation. Though some locals were aware of the investigation into those abuse claims, the Epstein saga didn’t build momentum until the 2020s.
DeSantis wants the beltway swamp creatures to know the Palm Beach Police Department conducted an investigation into Epstein way back in ’06.
What was the fallout of that investigation?
The state attorney elected to present evidence to a grand jury instead of charging Epstein directly.
The logic in the decision?
The state attorney would likely argue the decision was made to protect the identities of the victims.
Such is the problem with governance and authority. Humans, including those in power, are fallible creatures vulnerable to temptation, bribery, threats, and dishonesty.
Epstein’s Crimes are Finally Being Divulged
In retrospect, it probably would have been better if Epstein were charged in the mid-aughts.
Thankfully, DeSantis’ HB 117 discloses the grand jury testimony.
“This is long overdue but again, we feel that we can’t just turn a blind eye. What happened was clearly wrong, and the punishment was simply wholly inadequate to the crime.” – DeSantis
HB 117 made the court transcripts of Epstein’s ’06 sexual abuse case of minors public. The identities of 150+ individuals mentioned in those documents were made public.
The catch?
Epstein struck a deal with federal prosecutors in the state two years later that allowed him to sidestep liability for even more significant federal charges.
Epstein ultimately spent a year and a half in Palm Beach County jail.
DeSantis is an Inspiration for all Leaders
If America is to turn over a new leaf, politicians will aspire to be more like Ron DeSantis.
Instead of bowing to authority, DeSantis is doing the opposite.
He’s risking his political career and his personal safety by pushing for the release of the Epstein files.
The time has come for federal lawmakers to shed their swamp skin and morph into the moral crusaders they claim to be.
